Overview

A few days in Venice in late autumn, walked mostly along the water — the fondamente and bridges of the centro storico, the Grand Canal at Rialto, and out across the lagoon as the light turned.

The series moves from quiet back canals and alleys to the crowded Grand Canal, from St Mark's to a pasticceria window, and from the bustle of the day into the long gold of late afternoon — gondolas, vaporetti, and the lagoon at dusk.
